Jordan Hamilton

CEO

Jordan Hamilton has nearly a decade of experience in the addictions and recovery field. After joining Choice House in 2013 to serve as the director of admissions, he took the helm as executive director for Choice House in July 2017. Today he works to ensure the growth, operational efficiency, and quality control of the Choice House programs.

Before becoming part of the Choice House team, Jordan spent four years as a men’s supervisor at other well-respected residential treatment facilities in Colorado, where he spearheaded admissions and crisis management, as well as performing a multitude of other tasks involved with working with men in early recovery.

A graduate of the University of Colorado, Jordan spends his free time riding motorcycles, snowboarding, running with his dog, and spending time in the Colorado backcountry. He sets an inspirational example for the men in our programs through compassionate leadership.

Jeff Hamilton Choice House

Jeff Hamilton

Co-Owner, CFO

Jeff Hamilton adds a voice to the Choice House team, representing families and caregivers who want to assist in the recovery of loved ones. As a parent providing support to sons who were entangled in the web of addiction, Jeff’s recovery journey is slightly different. His involvement at Choice is the culmination of his experience with addiction recovery from a related support perspective and his belief that there’s not much traffic on the extra mile of helping others.

As an active CPA with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University, Jeff has taken a nontraditional path in the world of public accounting due to his interest in the people side of business. He has served as the CFO of various companies such as Royal Robbins, 5.11 Tactical, Noble Outfitters, Regional Hand Center, and Vecchio Trees.

Jeff is happily married to Karen and together they enjoy many outdoor activities, international humanitarian service, community volunteerism, and family experiences. (And in case you were wondering, Jeff is indeed Jordan’s dad.)

Tyler Richardson

Co-Owner

Tyler Richardson has worked in the addiction and mental health field since 2007. An entrepreneur and investor, Tyler was previously on the executive management team at another residential facility in Colorado, where his treatment industry experience included director positions in admissions, marketing, and alumni development. Today he joins Jordan Hamilton as a managing member of Choice House, where he provides administrative leadership and management advisory services and hosts 12-step intensive workshops to guide others to being recovered.

Tyler studied business administration at Southern Utah University. When he’s not supporting others in their recovery efforts, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family in Northern Colorado, serving at church, traveling, and enjoying the great outdoors: golfing, fly-fishing, hiking, skiing, and cycling.

Choice-House-Phil

Phil Nutt

Director of Admissions

Phil was born and raised in Jackson, MS, and will greet you with a “sir” or “ma’am” on your first call with him. Seeking recovery and a new life with the help of his family at 19, Phil moved to Colorado after one year at a music school in Nashville. He fell in love with the mountains and the friends he made whom he discovered purpose with. Over the past 10 years, Phil has graduated from Leeds School of Business here in Boulder with a finance degree, repaired his relationships damaged by addiction, and become a man in recovery who endeavors to help other men find what he has.

When Phil isn’t at Choice House leading our men by example and walking with our families through difficult decisions, you can find him fishing, golfing, or talking to his two sisters on the phone.
