Our CEO, Jordan Hamilton, has lost many people in his life from addiction and mental health. Then he lost his older brother to overdose in 2018 after a long battle with addiction. Nine months after he lost his brother, he lost his younger stepsister to an overdose driven by her battle with mental health. It’s a heartache that drives him to continue to work in the trenches of addiction and mental health to provide the support, resources, and community to families and individuals suffering from the disease of addiction and mental health issues. Jordan fought his own battle with addiction from an early age and his story is simply miraculous. He was 13 years old the first time he entered a long-term program, unfortunately that experience was wrought with abuse. He had a long and difficult road ahead. After years of struggling as an adolescent and young adult, including multiple treatment episodes, Jordan found freedom and recovery in 2008. That journey led him down a path that became his mission to give back to the community and families who are experiencing challenges and struggles with addiction. Choice House was designed to give our men the absolute best chance to recover and build a life they can be excited about. Choice House is structured as a year-long full-continuum of care program that has resources and a community available to you and your loved ones even after completing treatment.
